We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer for a direct hire position located in Atlanta, GA.

Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to support the planning and design of land development and infrastructure projects. This role will be responsible for preparing and reviewing civil site design documents, coordinating with project teams, and supporting permitting and construction activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in site development, stormwater management, and utility coordination across commercial, residential, or public infrastructure projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead civil site design efforts including grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility layout
• Prepare and review engineering plans, technical reports, and construction documents
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations to support stormwater design and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate with project managers, survey teams, architects, and other engineering disciplines
• Support permitting activities by preparing documentation and responding to agency comments
• Conduct site visits to evaluate existing conditions and provide construction phase support
• Participate in client meetings and assist with project scheduling and technical planning
• Provide guidance to junior engineering staff and review design deliverables for accuracy
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and environmental regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• 7+ years of experience in civil engineering design or land development
• Experience with grading, drainage, stormwater design, and utility coordination
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar civil design software
• Familiarity with local permitting processes and site development regulations
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain preferred
• Experience working within engineering consulting firms, development organizations, or infrastructure project teams
• Strong organizational and communication skills
