We are looking for an Internal Wholesaler for a direct hire position located in Omaha, NE.

Summary:

The Internal Wholesaler is responsible for supporting the external sales team by building and maintaining relationships with brokers, agents, and clients. This role involves promoting and selling insurance products, providing technical product support, and ensuring a seamless flow of information to help meet the sales goals of the company.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance products, excellent communication skills, and a passion for sales. You will collaborate closely with the external wholesaler team to assist with lead generation, marketing, and closing deals.

Responsibilities:

• Sales Support: Assist the external wholesalers by managing a high volume of incoming calls, inquiries, and requests from brokers and agents.
• Product Knowledge: Provide detailed information on insurance products, pricing, underwriting guidelines, and policy features to agents and brokers.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with brokers and agents to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
• Lead Generation: Generate leads for external wholesalers through proactive outreach, follow-up on marketing initiatives, and tracking opportunities.
• Sales Administration: Manage and track sales activity, including quotes, proposals, and status updates in CRM systems.
• Training & Education: Educate brokers and agents on new products, services, and sales techniques to increase the success rate of sales.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the underwriting, claims, and customer service teams to provide timely and accurate solutions to clients and brokers.
• Market Research: Stay informed on market trends, competitor products, and industry regulations to support effective sales strategies.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to the external sales team and management regarding sales progress and pipeline activity.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in insurance sales, preferably with a focus on wholesaling or inside sales.
• Licensing: State-required insurance licenses (e.g., Life, Property & Casualty) preferred or the ability to obtain within a certain timeframe.
• Skills:
o Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
o In-depth knowledge of insurance products and services.
o Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
o Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
o Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Preferred: Experience working with brokers and agents in the insurance industry.
